Girl Talk's, latest album, Feed the Animals, has become one of my favorite albums of 2008. If you haven't heard of him before, Girl Talk is a Pittsburgh based DJ who samples bits and pieces of various songs and makes them into full tracks. You can check out his myspace site here. I found a few YouTube users a few weeks ago that have made some music videos for Feed the Animals. I would try to explain what's happening in the vids, but I'm sure I won't do them justice - you'll have to experience the awesomeness firsthand below...
Track One - Play Your Part
Track Two - Shut The Club Down
Track Three - Still Here
You can check out even more Girl Talk music videos here.

Casual Collective Games
I have to admit, I am pret-ty into online computer games. So when I stumbled across this new gaming collective, I was pretty excited.
The site is Casual Collective Games and it features 8 different flash games. Each game is super simple and some also feature online multiplayer. My personal favorite thus far is Buggle Stars, a game using only the UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT cursors that is quite addictive.
Another fun game is Farragomate; a word game where you throw sentences together and are then judged by your fellow Farragomate players. Check out links to both games below.
You can also register as a member of Casual Collective Games to hook up with other gaming peeps and save high scores. Pretty neat.

Yelle Music Videos
Was browsing the net this morning looking for some new music when I came upon a French artist named Yelle. I am super into her sound and am also really digging her music videos. Check out the videos below. You can also visit her myspace site for more tracks or download a free copy of "A Cause De Garcons" here.

Best of the Best: America's Funniest Home Videos
I'd like to continue on with my "Best of the Best" series by posting a few classic clips from the ever famous TV show, America's Funniest Home Videos. I have only scraped the surface with these gems - I plan to keep searching and posting as I find more.
And just to get us into AFV mode, my first clip is the AFV opening sequence. I suggest watching it before the other vids - Bob Sagat's wacky antics (not to mention the fabulous magic montage) really get you in the zone.

Human Slingshot Medley
And, just for good measure, below is my favorite Human Slingshot video - taken from Australia's Funniest Home Videos...

Literal Music Videos
I stumbled across these videos a few weeks ago. The guys at DustFilms took a few classic 80's music videos and re-recorded the lyrics to match what is going on in the video. They are pretty awesome.
Enjoy!

Back in Action
After a year long hiatus, Skiddy Stop is back in action. In preparation for my first return post, I googled "how to blog" on YouTube and came up with these results. Although there were quite a few interesting responses, I think this guy hit the nail on the head:
I'm looking forward to my future as a progressive blogger.
More posts to come...
