I am looking forward to seeing the new movie, (500) Days of Summer, in the next few weeks. I have always been into Zooey Deschanel's work, especially her her band, She and Him. I stumbled across the following video tonight on BuzzFeed. It's being released as a promo video for (500) Days, but I think it's a great little She and Him music vid as well.

Cornelius
After reviewing my last post, I realized that Sour's sound (see previous post)and music video style is very similar to Cornelius, one of my favorite bands. I then revisited some of Cornelius'videos and decided I had to post here.
A few years back, I had the opportunity to see these fine musicians at the TLA. Their show was a multi-sensory experience that was truly amazing - a giant film screen, flashing lights, and a really sweet theremin were just a few of the awesome elements. They showed several music videos behind them as they played and each note was perfectly synchronized with the film. Ah-mazing.
Check out their magnificent work below.

Richard Swift
Yikes - it's been quite a while since I've posted. I was actually out of the country on a little road trip to Canada. When I got back, I was listening to the radio and came across a new artist I really liked. Turns out his name is Richard Swift and that he just released his newest album, "The Atlantic Ocean", on the Secretly Canadian record label.
Having had just been in Canada, I took this as a sign that I should definitely check out what this dude is about. I am really liking his stuff and am amped that he has already worked with some of my favorite artists - Ryan Adams, Mark Ronson, and Jeff Tweedy. Check out two of his music videos below; they are super sweet!

The 100 Most Iconic Internet Videos
Urlesque has started compiling a list of The 100 Most Iconic Internet Videos. I took a look through it this afternoon and found quite a few videos that I had already seen, and others that were totally new to me. They've only released numbers 100 through 81, but they will be posting 10 new videos every week. I am excited to see more!
Below are three of my favorites on the list thus far.
#99. Scarlett Takes A Tumble
We've all seen this already, but I swear it gets better each time I watch it.
#92. Lightning Bolt!
Note to self: next time I'm involved in an intense LARP (Live Action Role Playing) game, definitely choose "lightning bolt" as my special power...it just sounds cool.
#91. The Average Home Boy
This gem was discovered by an MTV employee after nearly 17 years hidden on a shelf. And let me tell you, I am super thankful that this was found - it makes my life complete.

John Mayer - Battle Studies
I've always been a John Mayer fan - his old tv series entitled "John Mayer Has a TV Show" (see video below) was totally hilarious. I also started following his Twitter updates and am really enjoying those as well.
However, what I'm really digging right now is his Battle Studies blog. He is using the blog to chronicle any of his new artistic endeavours. He blogs about everything from songwriting to new graphic design ideas. He recently posted the following video which shows him working on a song. I'm loving the fact that he is making his creative process so available.
