Section 44 - Tribeca Film Festival Short
The Tribeca Film Festival is screening a few of it's shorts on YouTube until May 8th. I really enjoyed the following short, produced and directed by Daniel Wilson of Hot Tail Films.

Moms On The Net
My favorite part:
Woman 1 - "Melody, are you on the Internet?"
Melody - "Isn't that for techno-geeks with spread sheets?"
Woman 2 - "Oh, Mel - you need 'The Power'!"
Sooo good!

New Music Sampler - 3.31.09 - 4.14.09
Again, my apologies for missing THREE weeks of the new music sampler. I've been enjoying many new releases on my daily commute via WTMD and XPN, but I have yet to post them on here.
I've decided to highlight a single from my favorite album release of each week. Enjoy!
3.31.09
Peter Bjorn & John - Nothing To Worry About
Looking forward to buying Living Thing and hearing more from these dudes.
Two other notable 3.31 releases: PJ Harvey & John Parish - A Woman A Man Walked By and Gomez- New Tide. Make sure to check out Indie Ear's SUPER TUESDAY list for 3.31.09.
4.7.09
Felice Brothers - Penn Station
I really enjoyed the Felice Brothers last album and am sure I will feel the same about Yonder is The Clock.
Also take a look at Neil Young - Fork In The Road and Bob Mould - Life and Times. SUPER TUESDAY list here.
4.14.09
The Kills - Black Balloon
Only know the following track from the Black Balloon EP, but I am ready to hear some more.
This week also brings us Silversun Pickups - Swoon. SUPER TUESDAY list here.

The Machine Is Us/ing Us
I found this video on Urlesque's 100 Most Iconic Videos and thought it deserved it's own post. A great tribute to the web done in a clean, efficient, creative way. I'm digging it.

The 100 Most Iconic Internet Videos
Urlesque has started compiling a list of The 100 Most Iconic Internet Videos. I took a look through it this afternoon and found quite a few videos that I had already seen, and others that were totally new to me. They've only released numbers 100 through 81, but they will be posting 10 new videos every week. I am excited to see more!
Below are three of my favorites on the list thus far.
#99. Scarlett Takes A Tumble
We've all seen this already, but I swear it gets better each time I watch it.
#92. Lightning Bolt!
Note to self: next time I'm involved in an intense LARP (Live Action Role Playing) game, definitely choose "lightning bolt" as my special power...it just sounds cool.
#91. The Average Home Boy
This gem was discovered by an MTV employee after nearly 17 years hidden on a shelf. And let me tell you, I am super thankful that this was found - it makes my life complete.
