Springsteen Superbowl Bet

Any serious online gambler knows that you can place a bet on anything - including The Boss. People have been speculating - and betting - all week as to what Bruce Springsteen will actually play at halftime of the Superbowl.

Unfortunately, Rolling Stone published an article which outted the site that was placing these bets. You can no longer wager on Springsteen's set list at, but you can still get psyched for his performance. To get you in the mood, why not watch the video below? I know it got me SUPER pumped!

Best of the Best: SNL Digital Shorts Hidden Gems

Continuing on with my Best of the Best series, I thought I'd post a few of my favorite Saturday Night Live Digital Shorts. Of course there are some classic shorts that we all know and love - D*** a Box and People Getting Punched Before Eating, for example. But how about those undiscovered gems like Ras Trent and Hero Song?

I've decided to post three of my favorite lesser known shorts below. Please, enjoy!

Arcade Fire Covers The Boss

Arcade Fire covered Bruce Springsteen's 'Born in the USA' at the Obama Staff Inaugural Ball. The cameraman seems ultra stoked to be witnessing this; I would've been too!

Rockafire Explosion: The Movie

ShowBiz Pizza was a HUGE part of my childhood. I have extremely fond memories of going there on Saturday afternoons to play some skiball, ride in the little mini-ferris wheel, and listen to the Rockafire Explosion animatronic band.

Needless to say, when I saw this 2008 YouTube hit, I was stoked - I had no idea videos of the Rockafire Explosion still existed! Apparently, there are a lot of people who feel the same way. In fact - there is a Rockafire Explosion movie in the works. Check out the trailer (along with a few other RE clips) below.

2009 Grammy Art

This year, Grammy nominated artists provided the names of fifteen songs that inspired them. The lyrics of these songs were then turned into a portrait of the artist. Check out the slideshow below.

Coraline Trailer

Wanted to post the trailer for Coraline as a follow up to my last post. The movie is based on Neil Gaiman's book of the same name. I am really looking forward to seeing it!

Take a look at Coraline Films YouTube Account as well. A lot of great "Making of" features there.

Dancing Moustache

Bo Henry, the art director of the upcoming movie Coraline, has released a video of his moustache dancing! The movie, a Focus feature from the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas, looks awesome as well - the website is an experience within itself. Check out the 'stache below...

Fun with a Microwave

Kraft has hired some dudes to videotape themselves microwaving random things. I think it's supposed to be an advertisement for Easy Mac. All I know is that I've never been more entertained in all of my life... The christmas lights are EASILY the best!

Barack Obama on Check, Please

A little vintage Obama - if 2001 is considered vintage, that is. Barack reviewed a little restaurant called Dixie Kitchen back in 2001 on a Chicago based show entitled Check, Please! Fun stuff...

Yo Gabba Gabba

My two and a half year old niece loves a show on Nick, Jr. called Yo Gabba Gabba. I've watched it with her for about a year now and find myself loving it more and more. Mark Mothersburg, from DEVO, does a lot of work with the music for the show, creating classics like "I Like Bugs" and "There's a Party in My Tummy". YGG also brings in special guests for a "Dancey Dance" segment as well as bands for a "Super Music Friends Show"! And - Biz Markie has a recurring "Beat of the Day" spot. Totally cool, right?

Below are some of my favorite Yo Gabba Gabba clips. I think you'll fully enjoy...
